Oakwil Seniors' Home is a project that was initiated by St. Luke's Church in Oakridges, about 20 miles north of Toronto. They wished to use their excess land to the benefit of the senior citizens in their community and they retained Lancer's principals to undertake the development management of the project. A unique design provided one- and two-bedroom, single-storey townhouses on a U-shaped road. A community centre serves the seniors with daily events. The large common green between the houses provides a further amenity.
